A former politically correct left wing academic whose research was used by Theresa May to make the case for an investigation into illegal Sharia courts in the UK has warned that liberals and left wing 'progressives' are enabling Muslim fundamentalists to spead extremist versions of Islam in the West.

Dutch legal scholar Machteld Zee said that if politically correct thinking and fear of being accused of racism stifles fair criticism of Islam, 'useful infidels' are helping fundamentalist Muslims segregate Islamic communities and encourage them to be more religious and insular. Her warning comes at a time when a report has highlighted how prevelant the practice of child marriages has become among Muslims in the west.

Girls as young as eleven or twelve are being married to much older, often middle aged men, who have agreed a 'bride price' with the girl's father. It should be remembered hat in Islamic culture women are chattels, the property of a husband, father, brother or son. Western Feminists however see no irony in defending Islam while screeching misogyny if a white male politician speaks of women in slightly crude terms.

Zee gained unprecedented access to Sharia courts in the UK while researching for her Ph.D. in law. After sharing her findings, the then-Home Office chief Theresa May ordered an independent inquiry over concerns the courts discriminate against women.

Zee, a research fellow at the University of Leiden (Netherlands) made the remarks in an interview for Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad. She was promoting her new book, Holy Identities: On the Road to a Sharia State. Zee was driven to write the book, an analysis of the problems of the Netherlands’s multicultural society, after spending time in Britain’s Sharia courts. Liberals and left wing progressives have joined extremist Muslim community leaders on calling for Muslims to be answerable only to Sharia Law and for Sharia Courts to have the same status as brith law courts in the UK.

"If you compare the Netherlands in the 1980s with today”, Zee commented, “You will see the increased influence of Islam everywhere. Saudi Arabia and other countries have flooded the world with thousands of imams, Islamic text books, mosques and a lot of money."

Dutch journalist Wierd Duk who interviewed Zee noted that in Holy Identities Zee argues Islamic fundamentalists who share the Saudi regime’s goal of Islamisation are being helped by "useful infidels" — non-Muslim liberal and left wing intellectuals, guilt addicted politicians, and opinion-shapers who think they are serving their community by sucking up to Islamic extremists. This attitude is fostered by the misplaced belief that appeasement of unreasonable demands will encourage extremists to integrate.

Zee replied: “Yes, leading multiculturalists actually believe that Muslims should be shielded from criticism because it would inflict psychological harm. Although there are many Muslims who find this view idiotic, others use it to call those who criticise Islam ‘Islamophobes’ and ‘racists’.”

The Algemeen Dagblad journalist noted that since her work on Sharia courts Zee went from being a self-described liberal left winger, to warning the world "against a lack of knowledge and lack of resistance to advancing radical Islam".

The academic said her research in Birmingham and London opened her eyes to a “parallel society” where “sharia law trumps secular law”. “I object to it because these practices are contrary to the rights of women”, Zee stressed.

In discussing Islam vis a vis cultural integration it is adviable to bear in mind the words of a Hindu politician who recently said, "It is a mistake to believe Muslims will integrate, they have been in India for a thousand years and have not integrated."

With the scandals erupting around both presidential candidates on a daily basis and the rest of the world stunned at ongoing degeneration into chaos of the US political system, one country has decided the time has come to take a direct stab at what it dubs America's "arrogant democracy" and "flawed politics"- China.

In an op-ed published in the Communist government's party's mouthpiece, People's Daily editor Zhong Sheng writes that "scandals have dogged the two main candidates throughout the 2016 election, which has further increased dissatisfaction among U.S. citizens", adding that "U.S. citizens are becoming more and more frustrated by the political campaign."

The tax-related questions for Trump, as well as worries over Clinton’s health and her use of a private email server, pay-to-play allegations dating back to her time as Secretary of State, and numerous financial irregularities attached to the Clinton Foundation, not to mention the aura of sexual menace and stale semen that clings to serial rapist and sex abuser Bill Clinton have all led to the current state of affairs. In their first presidential debate, the Clinton focused more on personal attacks than policies while Trump, hampered by 'microphone issues' was unusually restrained. The Times commented in an editorial that both candidates have failed to address the widening gap between the American dream and social reality.

China is hardly a model democracy of course, but the op-ed does highlight some very valid points, namely the soaring dissatisfaction with the failure of domestic politics to address the issues of the common man, which has been attributed as one of the primary catalysts behind the rise of Trump:

A recent survey showed that voters now see the government as the biggest problem needing to be addressed in American society. These concerns come ahead of issues like the economy, employment and immigration. Of course, that doesn’t mean voters don’t care about economic and social issues, but it does show the great and growing concerns that U.S. citizens have about their political system.

The People's Daily then also highlights another major problem with modern US politics, namely the impact of money on both the electoral and decision-making process,stating that "people are very clear about the sour fruits of money-oriented politics, and the new U.S. president is unlikely to end political confrontation or even do much to ease discontent toward the government. As UK economist Martin Wolf said, growing inequality and slowing productivity have made democracy intolerant and capitalism illegitimate.

For a long time, the U.S. has boasted that its lively election is a sign of its system’s superiority. However, the essential purpose of the election is to provide a driving force for development. The most important task for presidential nominees is not to win the election, but to eventually govern the country.

The punchline is a bitter slam of the hypocrisy prevalent within the top echelons of US politics: "It's time for the U.S. to take a close, honest look at its arrogant democracy and flawed politics."

No matter if Trump wins or loses, one can only hope that this will eventually happen.

A Pakistani man who executed his sister with a bullet to the head because she married a Christian man said he had “no choice” but to kill her because of her shameful act that brought dishonor on her family.

While his younger sister, Tasleem, was sitting in their kitchen with their mother and sister, Mubeen Rajhu shot her in the head at their home in Lahore this past August.

Eighteen-year-old Tasleem had married a Christian man named Jehangir, who even agreed to convert to Islam to please her family, but this wasn’t sufficient to stop her brother from killing her.

Rajhu now faces life in prison, but he has no regrets about the “honor killing,” which he claims was the right thing to do.

“I could not let it go. It was all I could think about. I had to kill her,” Rajhu said matter-of-factly in a video interview released by the Associated Press. “I had no choice.”

In the interview, Rajhu said he faced increasing pressure from neighbors and coworkers to do something about his sister’s situation.

Not before time Britain's politicians are asking for justification of our role in the bombing campaign againsyt the regime of colonel Gadaffi in Libya, which since 2011 has led to that country, at the time the most prosperous and advanced nation in Africa, becoming a chaotic failed state with three different groups all claiming to be the legitimate government.

David Cameron's partners in crime be Presisent Nicolas Sarkozy of France, and inevitably the warmonger in chief, United states President barack Hussin Obama. The British parliament can only hold Cameron to account of course, but it is good to know that ion the wake of the brexit vote or elected representatives are starting to behave as a democratically elected national assembly should, and not as a wholly owned subsidiary of the USA and EU.

According to the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee the then PM David Cameron lacked a coherent strategy for the air campaign. The intervention had not been "informed by accurate intelligence", and that it led to the rise of so-called Islamic State in North Africa, the report commented.

The UK government said it had been an international decision to intervene but in fact Britain and France were bullied into joining a US led regime change operation after Libyan leader Gadaffi defied the US ally Saudi Arabia.

The action was called for by the Arab League and authorised by a trumped up UN Security Council resolution after the USA had miseld Russia and China on the nature of the operation, claiming it was necessary for humanitarian reasons, when in fact it was an act of war against Libya.

The coalition, fronted by Britain and France with Obama 'leading from behind' launched a campaign of air and missile strikes against Muammar Gadaffi's forces in March 2011 after the regime threatened to attack the rebel-held city of Benghazi.

But after Gadaffi was toppled, Libya descended into violence, with rival governments and the formation of hundreds of militias, while so-called Islamic State, also known as Isil and Daesh, has also gained a foothold and now holds territory in Libya's unpopulated but oil rich south.
