Obama buys Into Biofuel


December 20, 2008. It was announced yesterday that President - elect Barack Hussein Obama (as he likes to be known) will on his inauguration throw the weight of his administration behind the embryonic biofuel industry in his campaign to make America more clean and green. As biofuel is really a non starter in the race to provide a clean, sustainable fuel to power road transport but was a favourite of Obama's predecessor George W. Bush thanks to the lobbying of big oil and big agriculture it begins to look as if Obama's promise of "change you can believe in" really meant more of the same .

Power To The People #1 Wind Of Change


Governments and power generation corporations are going out on a limb for Wind Power. It is (or looks) cheap, is easy to install and very visible which conforms with Greenteeth's first law of politics; "when you haven't a clue how to solve a problem at least look as if you are on it." but is wind power the answer or are there any drawbacks its supporters are not talking about?
